About Us
At Kensington Kids Kingdom, we believe childhood should feel like home – safe, joyful, and full of wonder. We provide loving care and playful learning for children from six weeks to five years, following their unique interests and growth. With 38 children a day, our Centre offers a warm, community-minded environment where every child is known and valued. Through welcoming spaces and strong partnerships with families, we support each child’s journey as they grow with confidence and curiosity.
Our Story
Kensington Kids Kingdom began with a simple dream to create a safe, loving, and nurturing place where children feel at home while exploring, learning, and growing. Our journey started many years ago as a small family daycare, where a handful of children played, laughed, and learned together under one roof.
As more families joined us, so did our vision. We wanted to create a space where children had more opportunities to discover, connect, and develop their confidence, a place where families felt supported and where educators could inspire and be inspired every day. That dream became a reality with the opening of Kensington Kids Kingdom Early Learning Centre.
Today, we are proud to have a team of passionate and dedicated educators who provide engaging, play-based learning guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS). We believe every child is unique, and we focus on creating meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our Centre also places a strong emphasis on community and family partnerships. We work hand-in-hand with parents to ensure every child feels supported, valued, and celebrated. We embrace diversity and respect different cultures, and we proudly acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we play and learn.
What started as a small family day care has grown into a vibrant, welcoming, and inspiring centre, a place where children are given the tools to thrive, families are part of the journey, and lifelong memories are created every single day. Our educators take the time to know each child deeply, their interests, strengths, personality, and the areas where they may need extra support. Through one-to-one interactions, we create meaningful connections that allow us to design learning experiences tailored to each child’s unique needs. This personal approach ensures every child is seen, heard, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.
Guided by the EYLF and the NQS, our team delivers engaging, play-based learning that sparks curiosity and builds confidence. We also work in close partnership with families, creating a supportive community where children thrive and truly feel at home.
Our Partnerships with Universities
At Kensington Kids Kingdom, we are proud to partner with leading institutions such as Victoria University, Excelsia College, and TAFE NSW to support the next generation of early childhood educators. We offer meaningful placement opportunities that enable student teachers to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience alongside our dedicated team.

Each room and outdoor area is thoughtfully designed for every age group, offering children the freedom to explore, make choices, and discover the world around them. From 2 large grassy playgrounds and quality equipment to creative indoor learning spaces, our environments invite curiosity, imagination, and joyful play every day.
